Arthur Morris and Partners (Pty) Ltd. was established in Cape Town, South Africa in October 1993 as an electrical and electronic Consulting Engineering practise. The three founding directors were Arthur Morris, Ebrahim Abrahams and Johan Botha.
Lategan Bouwer Engineers (LBE) was established in Secunda, following a management buy-out (MBO) from the then called Sasol Technology. A term contract was entered into between LBE and Sasol Technology which remained active until 2015.

NAKO Group, an African-owned multidisciplinary engineering powerhouse, formed exactly two years ago with the amalgamation of three specialised consulting engineering firms, is proud to announce the change of trading names of their subsidiaries previously known as ILISO Consulting (Pty)Ltd, Triocon Consulting Engineers (Pty) Ltd. and Lategan Bouwer Engineers (Pty) Ltd to NAKO ILISO, NAKO LBE and NAKO TRIOCON respectively. The change in trading names will be effective as of 1 March 2016.
